The Saibo TDB43-LK Robotic Bilex consists of two TPE rails assembled back to back, to from a double T profile. This allows the TDB rail to have a stroke equal to the closed length.
Due to its assembly, this range has a very high load capacity and excellent rigidity; with synchronised bi-directional travel. The beams are held in position and released as the slide traverses front and rear. Specifically designed for robotic pick/place and warehouse shuttles, this slide has very low friction coefficients due to the ground and induction hardened raceways. Speeds up to 0.8m/s are possible due to the bearings having a precise four-way bearing contact.
The standard mounting arrangement for these rails is to have a set of threaded mounting holes on one rail and a set of countersunk mounting holes on the other.

All Saibo steel ball-races are induction hardened to 58+4 HRC. Similar to that of the running bearings, allowing for very low displacement forces, yet increased longitudinal acceleration. In addition to the induction hardened raceways, the beams have an enhanced black zinc 20µm corrosion protection which is both RoHS and REACH compliant. The manufacturing process is controlled by ISO9001/2015.
