The Container Red locking slide has been developed for the emergency and commercial vehicle market to suit standard drawer configurations. It has a bright red front lever handle which disconnects and connects the locking facility in the closed and fully extended positions. This is a lightweight hollow section slide with a massive 250kg load capacity at full extension. The slides are easy to fit with the locking device being integrated into the beams. Dimensions are for the closed length of the slide body. Add 32mm for the red front locking latch, which controls locking in the closed and fully extended positions. The slides are used in a wide variety of applications where a low cost, high load, fully locking drawer is required. They are most commonly used in pick-up truck drawers due to their ease of fitting and price point. The slides have been tested to 50,000 cycles on full load.
These telescopic slides are pre-drilled with a flexible fixing pattern enabling them to be ready-to-fit in most standard applications. Full details of the fixing patterns and lengths and loads are set out on the datasheet. Bright zinc plated mild steel with positive stops in the closed and fully extended positions. The bearings are hardened steel with chrome plate. The locking lever is made from hi-visibility red nylon. The slides are stocked in volume, covering all standard locker drawer dimensions. We aim to ship same working day.
Prices and load ratings are per pair. They are sold as LH & RH pairs. Discounts for volume are available online. Loads are stated at full extension when the slide is uniformly mounted on the direct axis (not flat). For applications involving excess shock & vibration we recommend our solid section Ultio 7050 or DTS40 / 50 slides in the Professional Range.

Excellent telephone advice, help and technical support from the same person who answered the phone. 10/10 for empowered telephonist. Delivery spot on. These slides are going into the back of a pick-up truck to provide a full extension bed. So far very impressed with the weight, built and sliding mechanism they will be more than up for the job. On first inspection I would agree with a previous comment about the mounting holes size and pitch, maybe Ok for quantity factory fitting standard components but not so sure about one offs and home build. But that stage is still to come and hopefully mounting these runners it will be hassle free. But so far so very good. 10/10

I can’t rate this company highly enough as we had a job to go out due to being let down and the slides were here next day as promised. There is drawing support in all formats on their main site. The slides work well and support the load. They are priced per pair, so IMO best value when compared to other suppliers. Ian
