The DTS-50 is particularly suited for dynamic loadings where shock and vibration with torsional demands is required. Having a very low 50mm profile, this makes it an excellent choice for vehicle mounted pumps and generator carriers, where space is restricted. The load capacity in the closed position is multiples higher than extended. This makes the DTS50 slide very efficient in applications involving extreme levels of shock and vibration.
This is a heavy load/duty full extension telescopic slide (140Kg-380Kg/pair) suitable for a wide range of applications. At 550mm 1 pair has a full extension load capacity of 370Kg. Constructed from cold drawn steel sections, with machined ball tracks for accuracy, it has excellent levels of shock and vibration resistance. Accordingly the product is well suited to supporting generators and heavy machine guards, even with an over extension of 120%.
Due to the extreme strength of the mobile ‘I’ beam, this slide is robust to applied loads when in the extended position making it an excellent choice for dynamic applications. Unlike many other slides manufactured from rolled steel ‘C’ sections. There are no plastic parts in the manufacture of this range, making it ideal for high temperature use.
The entire range is manufactured from high grade steel type C45 E+C which ensures a slide with strong raceways, fit for the industrial purpose they were designed. The performance is far superior to slides made from XC10 through to XC35 which suit a volume manufacturing process. Standard ball cages are manufactured from zinc plated sheet metal, and the ball bearings are carbon steel C85 G100 in accordance with DIN 5401. An individual slide weighs 9kg per metre.
The DTSB version of this slide is fitted for an extension front and rear, equal to the closed length. Please ask our engineers for further information.
Prices are per single slide. Loading is given per extended pair. There are two slides per pair. The DTS-50 is stocked in large quantities across the full range of lengths to 2,000mm. For OEM volumes, please allow 3-4 weeks for manufacture or consult our sales engineers. Our stock holding is constantly growing to meet customer demands.Download Datasheet
