Special vehicles call for specialist slides
Sometimes vehicles applications
require slides that can be installed under
the tray or drawer as opposed on the side. Our General Devices bottom mount slide are particularly
suited to this kind of application as they are not fitted with ball bearings
and are not greased. Available up to a length of 48 inches with load capacities per
single slide between 215 and 576kg with optional locking features they are
coated in poxylube.
The latter has molybdenum
disulphide as key ingredient which is suspended in a resin coating to allow a smooth operating of the beams.
Our Professional range of slides are fitted with silicone free grease to reduce caking.
If there is space limited
envelope on the side, the solid section profile is suitable. Same coating as
the bottom mount slide with a slim profile suitable for keyboard drawers or military racking systems. We can
supply the C300 slides in stainless steel as well broadening the application
range even more.
