Military Projects At Sliding Systems

Our engineers have been challenged with many design project over the years, but the most complicated has to be designing ship-borne weapon handling system handling system for Tigerfish torpedoes. 

The brief was simple: We need a system to carry the torpedo from racks to firing position, rotated via bulkhead slewing rings with a multiple beam telescopic slide supporting the load whilst the boat pitched and yawed. Naturally specialist materials and plating systems were proposed between our engineers and manufacturing partners, Hegra. 

This vast experience allows Sliding Systems to design and supply into global military projects across a huge range of products.
