Chris with over 12 years technical sales experience with in the industry brings an excellent knowledge of using Telescopic Slides to offer customers the perfect solution.

“With the new range of GSF Telescopic Slides we are now able to cover almost any application” says Chris. “The range covers light duty furniture applications through to hardened steel slides taking up to 5000 kg per pair. This is why I was extremely pleased to join GSF Sliding Systems as I can now solve customer’s applications and offer solutions without having to walk away”.

GSF Sliding Systems have five ranges of slides called Utility, Professional, Performance, Precision and Thomas Regout:
* Utility Range: Rolled steel slides which have excellent load carrying capabilities whilst being very cost effective, and are Ideal for general applications such as storage on light duty vehicles, museum storage units etc. The range includes a slider with lock-in lock-out functionality and is available from stock in lengths from 300mm to 1500mm.
* Professional range: Manufactured using I beam sections and offers a value for money solution for many applications. They are a fit and forget product suitable for a wide range of OEM applications and in particular are suited to the heavy duty vehicle market, where slides capable of withstanding shock and vibration are required, such as Fire Trucks and Military vehicles. The slides are very compact in profile and can carry up to 2000 kg depending on the model used.
* Performance range: This new range are ‘C’ section slides, offering excellent load carrying capability with a narrow width they can be used in a variety of applications and can withstanding shock and vibration. Options of Lock in and out are available and slides can be customised to suit specific customer applications. The Performance range is retro-fittable thus matching other manufacturer’s slide profiles, so ideal for spares requirements and slide upgrades.
* Precision Range: A range of high precision hardened sliders and rails offers superbly smooth and accurate linear motion, together with an easy fit due to the self aligning and self lubricating capabilities of the product. With hardened ball and roller tracks, this premium product range works comfortably with very high loads (e.g. 5 tonnes) and in highly automated applications.
* Thomas Regout: GSF Sliding Systems are Proud to be partners for this superb range of general purpose slides is ideal for use in a vast array of applications where reliability and precision of movement are required, but the drawer slides will not be subjected to excessive shock and vibration. With a large range of profiles available, this range of telescopic slide is ideal for use in ATMs and other similar electronic equipment. As an option slides can be supplied with brackets to allow easy fitting into 19 inch racks and similar applications. GSF Sliding Systems are now able to offer this range for industrial customers in France and will be shortly launching a full website in French for this market.
