 GSF Slides as standard in the US
GSF has recently returned from their second visit to the Fire Department Instructors’ Conference (FDIC). The annual Indianapolis Fire Show saw exhibitors from all over the world demonstrating the latest developments in Fire equipment and Fire safety.
With more than 26,000 fire-fighters, 340,000 square foot exhibit hall and 900 of the industry's top companies showcasing the latest in technology, products and services, the FDIC is arguably the world’s largest Fire Show.
For GSF it was an exciting year. With their range of high strength, shock resistant drawer slides being showcased on US fire trucks and their award winning slide and tilt systems drawing a great deal of interest from industry professionals all over the world they have every reason to be confident.
“There can be no doubt that we are making positive headway in the US,” says GSF’s Export Director, Alec Don, “this was our second year at the FDIC and our products were being demonstrated on a number of vehicles including one of the US’s most successful OEMs, who are now using GSF products as standard across their range.”
High strength, precision engineered products have ensured a warm welcome in the States and according to Andrew Yenser, Rescue Product Manager for KME Fire Apparatus, “It was the strength and quality of the GSF slides that caught our attention; both are qualities to which we build our apparatus.”
GSF’s range of slide and tilt drawers also gained particular attention at the show. With exceptional smooth movement, high load capacity and rugged low-weight components it’s one of the safest configurations for operators to use.

 With the addition of the Pro Mount tool mounting system GSF has managed to create a product range that provides a complete safe storage solution. The Pro Mount system complements GSF’s existing range of high quality slide drawers, ladder gantry systems, telescopic slides and slide and tilt systems. Already in wide use in the states GSF has high hopes for Pro Mount.
