Join GSF at the DSEI - Stand: 1511, Hall N4

Once again the Defence Systems and Equipment International Show (DSEI) will be hosted at the ExCel centre in London from the 8th September - 11th September.  As the “largest fully integrated defence and security exhibition in the world” the DSEI promises to draw a host of international executives and military advisors from all over the world making it a very important and exciting show for GSF.

As well as being able to mix with clients like Marshall Land Systems and Anteon; Jon Lye, Managing Director, AlecDon Export Sales Director and Tony Macis, newly promoted UK Sales Director (click her for the latest GSF announcement), will be available to discuss GSF’s heavy duty Sliding Systems as well as being on hand to discuss the latest range in the GSF portfolio including ‘GSF Rescue’ a new product division created to offer a selection of emergency rescue equipment to our clients.

Joining us on stand will be Jim Everett, General Manager of Pac Trac Tool Mounts and expert in configuring complicated tool storage solutions for military and naval applications for the US military.  Jim will be flying in from the States and will be available to discuss defence tool mounting enquiries on the GSF stand (1511) as of the 8th September.

GSF has had a positive year of campaigning abroad, shows like the FDIC in Indianapolis have proved a great success in winning overseas contracts and partnerships throughout the middle east, Europe and US.  Even so the team are not sitting on their laurels; the DSEI represents an added focus on the defence industry. Having worked for twenty years in the emergency sector and blue light industry GSF have developed a wide range of products that are respected for their durability and high strength components, these factors are definitely being recognised by the defence sectors and GSF have high hopes for the future.

Jon Lye, Managing Director of GSF explains, “It promises to be a good show, a lot of our defence clients will be exhibiting so it will give us the opportunity to catch up with them and to meet delegates from across the world. We have been integrating a range of products into the defence and electronics industries and we are confident that the investment in these new product lines will give us the competitive edge in the defence market.”

Vehicle Components.

GSF are pleased to announce the development of their latest range of Vehicle Components, which currently include lighting and handle solutions. These latest product developments represent an expansion of GSF’s already well established product range.

Vector T Handle

The Vector T Handle is the latest in GSF’s new range of vehicle components. The quarter-turn T Handle and lock is ideal for a wide range of cabinets, storage lockers and equipment compartments as well as vehicle door applications such as fire engines, emergency response units and other types of service vehicles across a wide variety of sectors.

The Vector T Handle operates with a 4mm compression feature, pulling the door securely into the shut position for a vibration-free closure.  The Vector compression latch closes a panel or door providing good gasket compression ensuring a safe and flush finish.

Installation of the Vector T Handle compression latch is quick and simple. The latches are installed on the inside of the cabinet or vehicle door and can be mounted with screws or rivets.  Operated manually, by hand or key, a small latch flips around when the head is turned, fitting into the frame on the other door to provide a secure closed fit.

The T Handle vehicle component has a number of unique features to ensure a safer and more versatile product. Made from black Polyamide (PA6) and zinc die-cast sections the Vector T Handle offers smooth functionality and is resistant from shock, vibration and corrosion ensuring a longer life cycle and a more robust handle. Integrated locks and a retractable ring, for padlocks, ensure that the handle can be firmly locked for extra security making the Vector T Handle one of the safest on the market.

Whilst only the standard Vector T compression handle can be purchased online, other options are available including “Keyed to differ”, anti-clockwise, 1800 rotation and differing cam designs depending on your needs. Please contact GSF Promount on +44 (0)1691 770303 for more details.

Thermoplas Lights

The latest range of vehicle components also include a range of 12V and 24V Thermoplas interior lights.

The Thermoplas interior lights are specifically for use in vehicle stowage compartments, storage lockers and other equipment compartments. They provide PL light with blue LED night lighting with a florescent output of 11 Watts to enhance the visibility inside storage compartments making tools and equipment more accessible.

LEDs present many advantages over traditional light sources including lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, improved robustness, smaller size and faster switching making the Thermoplas lights a valuable vehicle component for vehicles such as fire engines, emergency response units and other service and response vehicles across a wide range of sectors.
